Solar Lantern helps Ramdhuli to pursue his studies

Ramdhuli is 19 years old and lives in Kanjra Ki Dhani, a town near the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan, India. He was forced into an early marriage, a practice still prevalent in some remote villages. Ramdhuli is very interested in pursuing his studies so that he can get a good job and look after his family. His wife stays with her parents. Ramdhuli is determined to complete his studies and start earning money before he and his wife live together apart from their families. The solar lantern has come as a boon to him as he can now study late into the evenings and early mornings and make up for lost time.
