Solar Lantern helps Gijnadevi brave the darkness

Gijnadevi has no children and lives by herself in the tiny village of Kanra Ki Dhani in Rajasthan, India. An elderly woman, she has no source of income because she is unable to work. On top of this, she is hearing impaired!

Gijnadevi is afraid of the dark and finds it very difficult to spend the night alone. She was delighted when she was given a solar lantern by the Restoring Force (TRF) as she feels this will help her brave the night. She can also save some money, which she spent buying kerosene for her oil lamps. Without the generous donation of the Sculpt the Future Foundation, Akhil, and Raj, TRF would not have been able to provide Gijnadevi with a solar lantern. Thank you for your generosity!
