Laxman’s children can study till late at night now

Laxman’s world has changed after the generous gift of a solar lantern from you. He is delighted to have light in his home for the first time. He lives with his family in Thali Ki Dhani, a small hamlet in the outskirts of Jaipur in Rajasthan, India. Like many of the remote villages Thali Ki Dhani is also devoid of basic amenities, namely electricity, education and drinkable water. His children used to study under the light of kerosene lamp and travel several kilometres to attend school. He is glad that the children can study under the solar lantern which is odorless and fumeless and gives out bright light.
