Hari hopes for a bright future for his sons

Hari lives with wife and two sons in Thali Ki Dhani, a village near the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan, India. He is illiterate but is determined to get his sons a proper education. As the village does not have electricity or any schools, the kids go to the nearby village to study. Thanks to your generous donation of a solar lantern, Lisa, Hari believes the entire hamlet will see an improvement in literacy — children will be able to read after dark more easily than they had by candle or lamp light. School work will also improve and their eye sight will be safeguarded from the fumes of the kerosene lamps.
