Neema can sleep peacefully at night

Neema lives with her husband, Prabhu, and daughter, Sapna, in Sapera Basti, a hamlet of 11 families near the city of Jaipur in Rajastan. Both husband and wife work as laborers. They find work for about 15- 20 days in a month in the nearly village of Chaksu which is about three miles away.  They have no electricity in the village, and your donation, Mimi, enabled The Restoring Force to donate a solar lantern to Neema and her family.

They were delighted to get the Solar Lantern as now they can have a fumeless and odorless light which can be carried from one place to another. One of the main advantages is that Neema can now prepare food after sunset. Earlier, she had to rush home from work to prepare food since the oil lamps used to attract flying insects, which would then fall into the food.

Twice, the roof of her house also caught fire because of the oil lamp. Now, Neema and her family can sleep without worrying about the fire.
