Heera can now get better rates for his vegetables

Heera works as a vegetable vendor in a village near Munj Ka Pura, where he lives with his family. Munj Ka Pura does not have electricity, the nearest hospital is 5 kms away, and there are no roads.

Thanks to the generous donation of a Solar Lantern by Laurie, Heera can now afford to purchase a mobile phone. Earlier having a mobile phone was too expensive, as he had to travel to a nearby village and spend 5 rupees each time he had to charge it. Now Heera can charge his phone using the lantern, and can check the market rates of his produce and accordingly make more money at the market!
