Anasuya Bai can now milk her cow before day break

Anasuya Bai lives with her husband and two children in Munj Ka Pura a remote village bordering the states of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in India. The family works in the fields but as the rainfall is scarce in this part of India they do not earn much. The other source of income is the cow she has. She sells milk and yogurt in the village to make ends meet. With the generous donation of a Solar Lantern by Susan Bradley she can now milk the cows early in the morning and late evenings and work in the fields during day time. The Solar Lantern is a blessing for her and has helped in increasing their monthly income.
